Celebrating Canada Day this year we bring you a new poster from artist Pat Hamou, inspired by Canadian Wildlife and the music of The Tragically Hip.

Courage

"For this Canada Day release I wanted to subtly reflect the current political climate with some of the nonsense going on south of the border and claims the country was for the taking. Representing Canada's strength and resilience through a stoic grizzly bear while a loon has wings up mirroring the elbows up mantra that has been so prevalent this year. Gord's iconic spirit hat rests in place as a reminder of his patriotism and passion for the country."

Pat Hamou

Pat Hamou is a Montreal based illustrator and graphic designer whose workload varies from week to week which is how he likes it.

He is happiest at his drawing table and hope the work speaks for itself.
